The Mary Poppins sequel by Walt Disney Pictures may have found its star to fill in the shoes left by Julie Andrews.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Emily Blunt has gone into negotiations to lead the musical in a continuation to the classical story.
Blunt is becoming the A-lister that is getting all sorts of roles and she has the luxury to be picky now. This role will catapult her stardom, being a giant title and brand name in the industry. And it's directed by Rob Marshall.
No word yet on a release date but it should be around 2018.
