Jennifer Aniston To Play Miss Universe Contestant Turn Sports Manager
Jennifer Aniston was really lucky to get the role in Cake, which she garnered so much Oscar buzz that potentially changed the direction of her career, which is just what she needed because I bet she is getting more roles than she would have had without Cake.
According to Deadline, Aniston will play Denise White, a former Miss Universe contestant who "rose to the top of the male-dominated world of professional sports management".
20th Century Fox has acquired the rights to the script from Dallas Buyers Club's screenwriter Melisa Wallack, based off of an article from Men's Journal titled "The Woman Who Bails Out NFL's Bad Boys".
So far, from what the movie sounds like, this looks like another potential Oscar-bait and Aniston may have another shot at that golden statuette.
Aniston will also co-produce the movie, which is titled The Fixer, through Echo Films, which produced Cake. However, no word yet on a release date.
