Ryan Reynold's Deadpool Starts Sequel Plans
The movie officially opens tomorrow in the U.S. but 20th Century Fox is feeling really good about their upcoming X-Men movie, Deadpool, that they have given the green light for a sequel, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
I just saw Deadpool and yes, it will justify a sequel financially. The end credit scene also teases a possibility of another Rob Liefeld character; but Deadpool being Deadpool, you just can't take everything at face value. When is he joking and when is he being serious? Even when he's serious, he's still joking.
Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are back to write for the sequel and I am expecting Tim Miller to be back on directing duties as I foresee this creative team to stay together for at least another movie since they have been fighting the uphill battle together for getting the first movie approved.
Now the question is, when is the sequel going to be released and will it be first or after the first X-Force movie? Or will Fox introduce X-Force in the next Deadpool movie?
