John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson have collaborated before in another horror genre, 1408. This time, they are teaming up again for a Stephen King novel adaptaiton, with a screenplay co-written by King as well.
I'm sure King's novel is a brilliant take on the zombie-apocalyptic story, but this first trailer of Cell released by Saban Films looks ridiculous and not fun at all.
But I will say this, it does have the Stephen King-movie vibe to it; so director Tod Williams managed to capture that. Although, it's not the best quality to have in a movie, or not exactly what I'm looking forward to in a Stephen King movie.
Cell will be out on 8 July 2016.
