Reading the title of the movie for the first time, The Third Wave, I thought The Fifth Wave movie starring Chloe Grace Moretz that just bombed earl this year was moving backwards and tackling a prequel of sorts.
But no, this is totally different. It's a post-zombie psychological thriller written and directed by newcomer David Freyne as his feature debut. And according to ComingSoon.net, Ellen Page has signed on to star.
Filming with start later this year in Ireland and will also star Irish actor Sam Keeley, which will probably get a late 2017 release date.
The director has even filmed The First Wave as a short film released by Titled Pictures on their YouTube page. Catch it below.
