According to TheWrap, as well as Dwayne Johnson's Instagram account, Jack Black is close to signing on to join Johnson and Kevin Hart in the cast of Jumanji.
Jake Kasdan is directing the remake and Johnson has said that they will pay respect to Robin Williams' character, Alan Parrish.
I like this casting news as I think what Black does or can do is the closest to what Williams did, not that I'm saying Black will be playing Alan Parrish. But Black's comedy will add a lot, and a third dimension to Johnson and Hart.
No word yet on a release date.
