Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment have released the first full trailer for their upcoming animated movie, Sing.
Featuring the voice talents of Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Scarlett Johansson, John C. Reilly, Seth MacFarlane, Taron Egerton and Tori Kelly.
I'll echo my sentiments from the teaser trailer released a few months ago, this completely looks like a whole season of "Americal Idol". It looks like it's going to have a lot of the popular songs used to stir up emotions, mixed in with some cheesy storytelling and forced drama; just like the reality programme. Everything about it bores me.
The only thing going for it is those big names in the cast list, headed by McConaughey. But even then, judging from this trailer, I may just give this a pass.
Sing will be released on 21 December 2016, where it may be good counter-programming to Rogue One and Assassin's Creed.
