Michael Keaton Back In Talks For Marvel's Spider-Man: Homecoming
In previous reports, we have learned that Michael Keaton's negotiations with Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures' Spider-Man: Homecoming have been unsuccessful.
The report came on the same day when Robert Downey Jr. was confirmed to make an appearance.
Today, Variety has reported that Keaton is once again in negotiations with the studios bringing negotiations back to Keaton. The report also mentioned the initial talks fell apart because they didn't think they could afford both Downey Jr. and Keaton.
But with Downey Jr.'s deal now closed, they have found a way to add Keaton once again.
And what this tells me very clearly is that Downey Jr. isn't just making a short cameo but actually has a big part in the movie.
Keaton's character isn't confirmed yet but it could be a villain. The movie will be out on 7 July 2017.
