The longest running musical, Cats, is probably the only title left, that is the most well-known and popular; but has not gotten a movie adaptation yet.
But that's all about to change as, according to Daily Mail, Oscar-winning director Tom Hooper is now developing a Cats movie. Hooper is reportedly now figuring out whether to do the movie in total CGI or live-action, or both like The Jungle Book.
Working Title Films will produce the movie alongside the musical legendary composer Andrew Lloyd Webber. No release date confirmed as of yet.
