Lionsgate has released the first trailer to the adaptation of Liz Jensen's novel of the same name, The 9th Life Of Louis Drax.
The movie is directed by Alexandre Aja, who also directed 2013's Horns, which I thought was a pleasant surprise for being an offbeat horror movie.
His latest offering stars Jamie Dornan, Aaron Paul and Sarah Gadon, with young Aiden Longworth playing the titular character.
From this first trailer it looks like there's plenty of mystery and suspense mixed into the horror undertone. It looks very intriguing and gives the vibe of The Ring with certain shots of the woods and the ocean.
The movie comes out on 2 September 2016.
