DreamWorks has released the first trailer to their upcoming Trolls movie, and it doesn't look good. The only thing that's not turning me completely off is that it's by DreamWorks and they may surprise me yet.
Starring the voices of Justin Timberlake, Anna Kendrick, Zooey Deschanel, James Corden and Russell Brand. And with Timberlake's name on a property like this, not to mention the whole cast is filled with actors who can sing; it's a no-brainer there will be some song and dance too.
But this whole trailer, and poster, fails to capture my attention, what more my interest. And there's an air of desperation when you slap in the actors faces in a trailer for an animated movie. It's just weird.
And I can't believe that I may be giving an Anna Kendrick movie a pass at the cinema. That thought alone makes me sad.
Trolls will be out on 4 November 2016.
