Warner Bros. Pictures has just released the first trailer and poster for Clint Eastwood's latest directorial, Sully, starring Tom Hanks.
Based on the true story of how Sully landed a plane on the Hudson River back on 15 January 2009. But what I didn't know and what has increased my interest level is how the story interweaves between the investigations on Sully after the landing and the actual event itself.
I believe with the Eastwood and Hanks combo, this is going to be something special; even though the trailer reminds me of Flight a lot. Whether or not Flight took notes from this event, but it did come first and whatever comes next will be compared to it.
Sully will be out on 9 September 2016.
