Anne Hathaway And A Few More To Fill Up Ocean's Eight Main Cast

Warner Bros. Pictures reboot of Ocean's Eleven with an all-female cast, going with the title Ocean's Eight, has picked up a few more actresses.

Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett were the first names to be attached, followed closely by Mindy Kaling and Helena Bonham Carter. There were also a couple of A-listers that dropped out like Jennifer Lawrence and, supposedly, Elizabeth Banks.

Now, according to Deadline, Anne Hathaway is very close to being signed on, together with singer Rihanna and rapper Awkwafina. That makes a total of seven, just one shy of the title.

The movie will be produced by Steven Soderbergh, who was responsible for the first remake of Ocean's Eleven, and will be directed by Gary Ross.

No word still on a release date.
