How is Ben Affleck not filled to the brim yet? He's shotting Justice League, working on the new Batman solo movie, he's promoting his upcoming movie The Accountant, and he's just finished filming Live By Night.
Now, according to Deadline, Sony Pictures is negotiating with Affleck to star and direct in Witness For The Prosecution, with its source material stemming from a short story from Agatha Christie.
The original story is a crime mystery that also plays into the courtroom. And the tone would fit very well to what Affleck is so good at if you recall Gone Baby Gone and The Town. The crime-mystery genre is what Affleck excels at.
