Chernin Entertainment is adapting an espionage novel by Jason Matthews to the silver screen for Twentieth Century Fox, titled Red Sparrow.
The movie has already attached Jennifer Lawrence to star, and now, according to Deadline, Joel Edgerton has also joined the cast.
Director of the last three Hunger Games movies, Francis Lawrence, will once again collaborate with Jennifer Lawrence; with an adapted screenplay by Eric Warren (who also wrote for Jennifer Lawrence with American Hustle).
No word yet on the release date of the movie.
