A24 has released a first trailer to their upcoming, but long-time in-development, Gus Van Sant movie starring Matthew McConaughey and Naomi Watts.
This first trailer has a tone that is like a slow-cooking drama and is probably not for everyone. The fact that it has been shot a couple of years ago and never released doesn't really bode well for the movie.
Written by Chris Sparling, who wrote for Buried, and with Ken Watanabe in supporting role, directed by Van Sant, everything on paper looks brilliant. Hopefully the movie will surprise everyone and whatever they had to fix were all fixed.
The movie comes out on 26 August 2016.
