According to Exhibitor Relations, Sony Pictures has announced the Bad Boys second sequel, which has been in development for years, is getting both good news and also bad news.
Good news is that the official title for Bad Boys 3 is now Bad Boys For Life, a small step in its development. But the bad news is a much bigger one as the movie was scheduled to release next summer, however, it is now been pushed to 12 January 2018.
To have any movie open in the month of the dumping ground of January usually is a strong sign that the movie is a crap fest. So this news actually has killed a lot of enthusiasm, if there has been any, for the return of Will Smith and Martin Lawrence as Bad Boys.
