Jared Leto is on his way to another major movie role. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Leto is set to play Andy Warhole in the biopic.
Titled simply Warhol, the project has Oscars written all over it as the movie will be co-produced by Leto and Oscar-nominated producer Michael De Luca; and is written by Oscar-nominated writer Terence Winter, who recently wrote The Wolf Of Wall Street.
The script will be based off of Victor Bockris' book, Warhol: The Biography, which Leto and De Luca has purchased the rights to.
No director has yet been named and no release date has been set. One thing is for sure, you can count on Leto diving in to this character and it seems like a perfect fit as both of them are eccentric individuals.
