Columbia Pictures has announced that they are developing a Peter Rabbit movie with Frederick Warne & Co.
The movie will be a cross between live-action and CG motion picture, and will be based on the series of books written and illustrated by Beatrix Potter.
James Corden has been tasked to voice the animated character of Peter Rabbit, while Rose Byrne will star as the live-action lead role of Bea. Daisy Ridley and Elizabeth Debicki have also joined the list of voice actors, according to ComingSoon.
The movie will be co-written and directed by Will Gluck, who also directed Annie, Friends With Benefits and Easy A.
Production will begin this upcoming January 2017 and set to be released in April 2018.
