Walt Disney Studios and Pixar have announced today that there are some changes in the release dates for two of their upcoming juggernauts, Incredibles 2 and Toy Story 4.
The two properties have actually swapped dates, according to ComingSoon, delaying Toy Story 4 but bumping up Incredibles 2.
This actually makes sense to me because there are a lot of fans waiting for Incredibles 2. It was announced first before Toy Story 4 and they already have locked in Brad Bird to direct again, so waiting until 2019 would be quite strange.
As for Toy Story 4, I didn't like the previous one as much as I hoped I would, so I'm not looking forward to another one that much. Prioritising Incredibles 2 sits better with me.
So now, Incredibles 2 will be out on 15 June 2018, while Toy Story 4 will be out on 21 June 2019.
