A big casting news today from Lucasfilm, confirming Donald Glover as the young Lando Calrissian who will appear in the next standalone film after Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
According to ComingSoon, Glover will be acting opposite Alden Ehrenreich who will play the young Han Solo in the still-untitled Star Wars standalone story.
At this point, why not just call it "Han Solo: A Stary Wars Story" if Lucasfilm is adamant about keeping "A Star Wars Story". I much prefer the previously titled "Anthology" but I doubt they will go back to that.
The movie will be directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, who previously brought The LEGO Movie to life; and will be released in 2018.
