IFC Films has recently acquired the rights to distribute the drama about gay porn industry, which is based on the 2007 murder of gay porn producer Bryan Kocis, as well as from the book "Cobra Killer" by Andrew E. Stoner and Peter A. Conway.
The movie stars Christian Slater, Garrett Clayton, James Franco, Alicia Silverstone and Molly Ringwald. It debuted to positive reviews at the Tribeca Film Festival this year, and this first trailer also showed the potential of the movie to be highly entertaining with moments of humour.
Described as the gay version of Boogie Nights; written and directed by Justin Kelly, King Cobra will be out on 21 October 2016.
