Newcomer Lana Condor did not have a big role as Jubilee in X-Men: Apocalypse, let's hope there's more screentime for her as she boards the cast of Alita: Battle Angel.
According to Variety, Condor will play a character called Koyomi K. And according to the original manga source material, she is an orphaned girl who grows up in the Scrapyard.
I can't imagine this being a big role but it should be bigger than Apocalypse. Under the 20th Century Fox banner, production will begin this month.
Robert Rodriguez is directing but there is no release date set yet.
