Well, you don't see this everyday! Even before Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them is released, another A-lister has been confirmed to join the sequel of the movie.
According to Deadline, Johnny Depp has been cast to join Eddie Redmayne in the sequel; which Warner Bros. Pictures has recently announced that they are developing five movies altogether. But of course, Hollywood is a fickle place and if the movies do well, we could be expecting more. But if the first couple don't hit the numbers they like, WB may just pull the plug.
The article also stated that we may even catch a glimpse of Depp's character, who remains unknown at this point, may even have a small cameo in the first movie. But this would make complete sense for this announcement because then the news won't be too much out of the blue since he's already in the movie.
So be sure to keep an eye out for him when the movie comes out on 18 November 2016.
