It would be interesting to hear from writer-director Max Landis on how he come to the decision to remake one of his father's most popular work from 1981, An American Werewolf In London.
John Landis' cult movie was the winner of the first regularly-given Academy Award for Best Makeup And Hairstyling.
Deadline has confirmed that the remake by the younger Landis will be at Universal Pictures, with TV's "The Walking Dead" producers, David Alpert and Robert Kirkman, involved as well through their Skybound Entertainment company.
No confirmed release date has been announced yet.
