I didn't think this was possible but this Tom Hanks movie trailer almost put me to sleep. Granted the main star for The Circle is Emma Watson, but seems like Hanks plays a very prominent role in it.
Also starring John Boyega and Karen Gillan; the movie is based off of the novel of the same name by Dave Eggers, and is written and directed by James Ponsoldt.
I'll still give it the benefit of the doubt as it is only the first trailer. But it's really those mish-mash of scenes from being on some sort of campus, to canoeing and then to a road accident; they are just too messy for me. And obviously I have never read the source material.
The Circle will be out on 28 April 2017.
