I guess they are not giving up on this amidst the multiple delays that has plagued this movie. Paramount Pictures has just released a new poster for their upcoming horror sequel, Rings.
Featuring prominently the antagonist Samara, the tagline reads what we already know the film is about. So it will probably just be a modernisation of the whole concept for this Japanese original.
Ringu was the one movie that scared me shitless back in the early 2000's. The Hollywood remake was commendable but this does not look promising at all as we the marketing has halted since the first trailer until now.
Rings will be out on 3 February, maybe.
