Saw: Legacy Finished Filming, Announces Laura Vandervoort

Here's a new twist in movie news. According to Variety, the eight movie in the Saw franchise, subtitled Legacy, has already finished filming last November and now sits in post-production - this being the first piece of substantial news we hear since the announcement of the title.

Filming apparently has been kept under wraps and we are only now learning that Laura Vandervoort is in it.

Saw: Legacy will be the first Saw movie in the last seven years. Saw 3D: The Final Chapter came out in 2010. Not so final after all.

The new movie will be directed by Michael Spierig and Peter Spierig, also known as the Spierig Brothers, who also helmed the mind-bending Predestination. It will be released on 27 October 2017, months after post-production has completed I'm sure.
