Sophie Turner at the BAFTA Awards last weekend has confirmed while being interviewed by HeyUGuys that she is about to begin shooting "the next X-Men". You can watch those words come out of her mouth right here.
Now it just frustrates me to no end that the person who interviewed her was not well-versed enough to ask her which X-Men movie was she referring to.
Notice that she said "X-Men" and not "New Mutants", but I doubt she means anything else other than the only X-Men movie that is in production, which is New Mutants.
But I would get such a kick out of discovering that there is actually a follow-up to X-Men: Apocalypse. As much as how disappointing that movie was to many, I still liked it and I thought it was still a great addition to this era's X-movies. So yes, give me another X-Men movie that follows the new, or younger, Jean Grey, Cyclops and Storm.
