Malin Akerman is a name I have not heard in a while. According to The Hollywood Reporter, she is in final negotiations to star opposite Dwayne Johnson in the upcoming video arcade adaptation, Rampage.
Akerman is set to play the villain of the movie, "a calculating head of a tech company that is behind the monsters", under New Line Cinema banner.
The movie will also star Joe Manganiello, and will begin shooting in April for a 20 April 2018 release.
