Back to the world of The Conjuring, I am surprised that Annabelle is actually getting a sequel, or should I say a prequel.
The first trailer and poster has just been released by New Line Cinema, and there is a healthy amount of jump scares in it, courtesy of director David F. Sandberg. A few of the setup are actually quite frightening.
The first Annabelle movie was actually not that great, so this second one would be riding the success of Sandberg's Lights Out (which I did not think much of as well) for another quick cash grab.
Starring Miranda Otto, the prequel will be out on 11 August 2017.
