STX has released a new trailer for Valerian And The City Of A Thousand Planets.
With this new trailer, we get to delve more into the world of Valerian, and there are similarities to Star Wars when you are looking at this kind of space opera.
While it looks beautiful aesthetically, I still have this funny feeling that the movie will not live up to what it promises.
The main cast is split for me for now, with Dane DeHaan looking good but Cara Develingne does not - especially that last shot of her feels so out of place in this trailer. We do however get a first look at Clive Owen and another look at Rihanna; and it also stars John Goodman and Ethan Hawke.
Directed by Luc Besson, the movie will be out on 21 July 2017.
