The first trailer for Tulip Fever from The Weinstein Company looks very interesting, having no prior knowledge of its existence. And, therefore, this shows that a properly cut trailer can really sell a movie.
The movie reminds me of Shakespear In Love, probably because it is mentioned in the trailer that it's from the same producers.
But more importantly, it is the talent involved in the cast. With Alicia Vikander and Dane DeHaan leading, I'm still waiting for DeHaan to get a breakout role as he has flirted with it a few times. And as Valerian And The City Of A Thousand Planets gets closer, the less confidence I have in it, for some odd reasons.
Supporting the pair is DeHaan's co-star in Valerian, Cara Delevingne; Jack O'Connell, Zach Galifianakis, Judi Dench and Christoph Waltz.
Directed by Justin Chadwick, the movie will be out on 15 July 2017.
