One of the main leads for Paramount Pictures' Transformers first spin-off movie, the Bumblebee solo outing, may have just been confirmed.
The Hollywood Reporter today has Hailee Steinfeld of Pitch Perfect 2 as the possible first member to join the cast as she is currently in negotiations with the studio.
She is reportedly to play "a tomboy who also holds a job as a mechanic after school".
The movie has Travis Knight set to direct as a follow-up to his hit animated effort, Kubo And The Two Strings, with a script by Christina Hodson as her third project.
The movie will be out on 8 June 2018.
