The first green band trailer for American Assassin has been released a while back from CBS Films and Lionsgate. But it was not a good trailer and looked uninteresting and cliched.
This new red band trailer is inspired and shows more of the plot that was not included in the first trailer. It has more of Taylor Kitsch's character that added a lot of depth to the story.
Also, there seems to be more action sequences that whets the appetite. However, I am unfamiliar with director Michael Cuesta's work, but hopefully it is not some quick edits to create action sequences.
American Assassin stars Dylan O'Brien, Michael Keaton and Sanaa Lathan; and will be out on 15 September 2017.
