First was Annabelle, which has a sequel coming called Annabelle: Creation on 11 August 2017; then The Nun, whose first appearance was in The Conjuring 2, was announced. And now The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Crooked Man will follow suit.
The Crooked Man also hailed from James Wan's The Conjuring 2, and was played by Javier Botet. Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema will continue to produce alongside Wan.
No release date has been set as of now.
