Noah Hawley, showrunner of the TV series "Legion", which belongs to Marvel, made the announcement at San Diego Comic Con earlier today saying he is developing a Doctor Doom movie for Fox.
The Hollywood Reporter also mentioned that Hawley is looking to direct the feature film.
Hawley has no directorial resume for films but has directed one episode of "Legion" and two episodes of "Fargo". Now it is up to Fox whether or not to let Hawley sit on the director's chair.
I still don't know how to feel about this news but all I ask is, don't let Doom become another Maleficent movie. I don't want another iconic villain who is misunderstood.
