Annapurna Pictures has released the first trailer and three character posters for its upcoming biopic of Dr. William Moulton Marston and how he created the comic book character Wonder Woman.
Professor Marston And The Wonder Women stars Luke Evans as the titular character, alongside Rebecca Hall and Bella Heathcote; all appearing in the character posters. The movie also stars Connie Britton and Oliver Platt.
This first trailer, for the origin of Wonder Woman if you will, plays more like a thriller than the typical biopic. It even looks way too imaginative to be real. I am intrigued and interested to find out more, having not known anything about the creator of Wonder Woman beforehand.
Written and directed by Angela Robinson, the movie will be out on 13 October 2017.
