Amazon Studios has released the first trailer to Last Flag Flying, starring Steve Carell, Bryan Cranston and Laurence Fishburne.
I have not heard anything about this movie, at all; as if the studio wants to keep this a surprise. It is directed by Richard Linklater, and it looks like it may be another Oscar contender.
It is also good to see Carell continuing to stretch himself in dramatic roles, putting his comedic chops on the backseat and letting Cranston takeover the funny-guy role.
Even though the subject of the movie does not seem too interesting, but the way these three fine actors interact could worth more than the price of admission.
The movie will debut at the 55th New York Film Festival before getting a theatrical release on 3 November 2017.
