A Judy Garland biopic is in the works at Pathe and Calamity Films, and will be aptly titled Judy.
And according to ComingSoon, the studios have confirmed that Renee Zellweger will be playing Garland.
Also, the Tony nominated stage director, Rupert Goold, have also been confirmed to helm the project. The cameras are scheduled to begin rolling come February 2018.
This will not be Zellweger's first foray into musical. She was nominated for the Oscar for her leading role in Chicago released back in 2002.
The movie could be released in time for the award season at the end of 2018.
