Whether or not this will actually happen is still up in the air judging from the project's history, but 20th Century Fox has set a new release date for the long-gestating Gambit solo movie.
Channing Tatum is still attached at this point, and Fox may also have found a director in Gore Verbinski to helm it.
Gambit is currently set for 14 February 2019, strangely taking that Valentine's Day but, unlike Deadpool, I can't see Gambit being anything romantic...
But I'm more interested now to see if the date will stick (get it, his weapon, stick? No? Okay).
