Neon has released the first red band trailer to the upcoming biopic, I, Tonya; featuring a part of the life of figure skater Tonya Harding.
This movie is definitely going to push Margot Robbie's acting capabilities, being a biopic and she is the lead. But she also has a strong support cast in Allison Janney, Sebastian Stan, Bobby Cannavale and McKenna Grace.
Harding's life has been a dark comedy of sorts, and you can see that coming through in this first full trailer. I still think it is too soon to tell whether Robbie has a chance for Oscar nomination, but Janney certainly could.
Directed by Craig Gillespie, the movie will be out on limited release on 8 December 2017.
