The first full trailer for Ready Player One has just been released by Warner Bros. Pictures.
And I am both surprised and happy that when superhero references had to be made, the studio did not shy away from name-dropping the counterparts from Marvel Studios as that is probably from the source material.
But this trailer looks amazing, exciting and like a joyride of an adventure. Tye Sheridan and Ben Mendelsohn both look great here. And we also have brief glimpses of Olivia Cooke and Mark Rylance.
The CGI is the only thing that I am still a little apprehensive about because on the one hand, it still looks like the present gaming graphics that we see everywhere when it should be much more smoother since this story takes place in the future, but on the other maybe that's what it is supposed to look like in this world.
But either way, this trailer, unlike the teaser; has gotten me very excited for the movie.
Directed by Steven Spielberg, Ready Player One will be out on 30 March 2018.
