DC's The Flash Announces New Directors

Warner Bros. Pictures has not found their stride yet with The Flash solo movie, which has recently been confirmed to be about the "Flashpoint" story; and may also be the title for the movie. 

Multiple directors have come and gone, even more have been rumoured to be courted. And here comes the latest contenders.

Variety has reported that Vacation directors John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein are in negotiations to join the DC family. They are also writers themselves who provided parts of the scripts for Spider-Man: Homecoming, as well as Horrible Bosses. 

Having said that, however, the duo have not have much experience directing. Vacation was their directorial debut and their second, Game Night, has not come out yet. One thing is clear though, these directors veer more towards the comedic side of things. Hence, WB may be moving further away from the tone set up by Zach Snyder for this DC universe.

Flashpoint is scheduled to be out in 2020.
