Walt Disney Pictures and Lucasfilm have finally released the first trailer of Solo: A Star Wars Story during the Super Bowl weekend.
But this is not even the full trailer, which is supposed to come out tomorrow on TV on "Good Morning America".
However, this trailer has done its job. After Star Wars: The Last Jedi, my enthusiastic for any more Star Wars movie was at its lowest. No trailer for Solo? I did not care that we are just a short few months out from its release date. I had zero interest in seeing anymore from this universe, which is crazy.
But Solo looks like it could bring me back. And I am now officially excited to see more of it.
There also no denying the fact that Alden Ehrenreich has an unfair task in front of him, to portray the most beloved character in the universe while facing the most skeptical of skeptics after The Last Jedi, trying to win them back into Lucasfilm and Disney's good favours.
Directed by Ron Howard, the movie will be out on 25 May 2018.
