Colin Trevorrow Back For Jurassic World 3

He rebooted Jurassic Park and made USD 1.67 billion worldwide. Now according to Entertainment Weekly, Universal Pictures is bringing him back to close out the trilogy.

Colin Trevorrow was viewed as a superstar after the success of his first Jurassic World movie, so much so that he was recruited by Lucasfilm to direct the third movie in the new Star Wars trilogy. But after about two years working on the project, he was dropped.

But I guess his goodwill with Universal is still in abundance and now he is confirmed to finish what he started.

The studio is also confident that the upcoming Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, opening on 22 June 2018, will be lucrative enough to warrant a third movie. Though I'm sure no one is expecting him to repeat the result of the first movie.
