After the success of Ready Player One between Steven Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment and Warner Bros. Pictures, the latter has offered Spielberg to direct a DC property, Blackhawk.
I am unfamiliar with the property but I think it is safe to assume that this is not a superhero movie, as some are led to believe just because it is from DC.
According to ComingSoon, the screenplay is being written by David Koepp who has been a long-time collaborator with Spielberg.
Once again, Spielberg is keeping himself really busy. Just as Ready Player One has been released, he now has three more movies waiting for him to direct; namely the fifth and untitled Indiana Jones movie, West Side Story, and now Blackhawk.
But some projects do fall through the cracks. Whatever has happened to the Jennifer Lawrence-led biography, It's What I Do?
