Deadline has reported that the Elton John biopic titled Rocketman has just gotten a boost to move forward by confirming its lead in Taron Egerton.
Matthew Vaughn and his Marv Films will also be producing, making this the fourth time they have collaborated - from the two Kingsman movies and also Eddie The Eagle.
This will also be the second time Fletcher is directing Egerton.
The movie will be based on John's rise to stardom and his musical partnership with Bernie Taupin.
