It is a really good strategy. Have two great movies come out first and then the lesser one to ride on the glory wave.
Let's face it, there is no way this movie is going to be any better than either of the two MCU that came out this year, or three if you want to include Thor: Ragnarok. But after Avengers: Infinity War, fans will be clamouring for more stories to get more clues as to what is going on in the aftermath. And a post-credit scene here may just do that.
I'm still nowhere near recovering from Infinity War so watching this trailer is almost like going through the motion only.
Is it a great trailer? It could be, but I can't see it because all I can see is Captain America sitting beside the corpse of Vision, wondering if they should have sacrificed Vision in the first place.
