The studio has officially set a date for the third Sherlock Holmes movie, Christmas of 2020. The first two were released back in 2009 and 2011 - both directed by Guy Ritchie. But no director has been named as of now.
This third movie will be released a week after Avatar 2 (if it ever gets done).
